A little extra

Before I enter the zone of no Internet in my home I thought I would post some pictures that someone took during our training. They were taken after our lunch treat.
Well it has been one week already in this crazy place, but I am really enjoying being lost and excited. Anyways I will keep up with the blog from work or in a PC Bang when I get the chance before I get Internet in my new place.

  1. Hi Joy-A voice from your past here. It's been, what, 12 years? More? I don't know where to begin. I knew you were an extraordinary artist when your artwork "joyed" the billboard at Crystal Lake. I was really surprised when your mom told me you were going to Seoul to work. Talk about guts!!! I loved reading your blog, written so artistically, poetically, allowing me as the reader to feel your experiences/emotions/thoughts. And, last but definitely not least, it was such a treat to see your photos (my, how you've blossomed into a unique and intriguing beauty) and hear your voice, so different than my memory recalls from your early teen years. Your brilliance always impresses upon me. What you notice in your world comes from the soul of a poet and someone who could bridge worlds. May your journey be Joy-ful. And, thank you so much for sharing it. I can't wait to pass your blog to Jeff and David (you'd never recognize David these days, totally different from his early childhood trials and tribulations--maybe because of). All my love, Clare Marder

  2. Hi Clare,
What a pleasant surprise to have a comment from you on my blog. It certainly has been many years since our last meeting. I too have a hard time grappling all that has happened in those years. Thank you so much for your kind thoughts and reflections.

I think it took a lot of life changes to get me to Seoul, while I am here I really want to explore the meaning to my trip.

Anyways I hope you enjoy my blog further :)! thanks
